We came here for Chicago restaurant week brunch and it was beautiful in the restaurant. My favorite item I had was the parfait. It was light and delicious. The food was great. Our server was attentive and personable. I can’t believe I have not been here before. I will definitely be coming back here to taste the rest of their menu.

Amazing service. Very attentive to your table. My bf and I had the pleasure of being served by Anthony. He was nice and gave us recommendations to sights in the area. If you are from out of town please make time to visit the Dawson! <3

They are temporarily closed due to an unfortunate fire incident. Dawson is a great restaurant. Its pretty huge but almost full. We love that the chef experiments with the menu and introduces new dishes very frequently. We have recommended this restaurants to many of our friends and they have loved the food and service here. We love the service for sure but the food is exceptional. We can’t wait for Dawson to open back up and dine with them soon. Highly recommend this place if you are celebrating something special or for a date night.

Came here on our first date and came back for our anniversary. We love this spot. Beautiful outdoor area with live music. The menu rotates every season which keeps it fresh and this one did not disappoint. The lamb with pomegranate was amazing would recommend to anyone. We began the night inside because it was a little cold (girlfriend was cold so we asked to sit inside), and the waiter explained it was much nicer outside and said he would seat us under a heat lamp. This improved the night so much! Very grateful & we will keep coming back here to try the new menus

Came here for a brunch mid October, sat outside and everything was perfect. My friends ordered the avocado toast (which was a lot of food). I ordered the birrira grilled cheese and it was fire. All of the drinks were great too: espresso martini with pumpkin spice, green eye, spicy margarita, painkiller and bottomless mimosas. Johnathan our server was phenomenal. He recommended the painkiller and the green eye, and those drinks were strong and refreshing. Overall the Dawson is a good vibe with good service. If the weather is good sit outside because the patio area is cute and picturesque. Good for brunch, casual dates, or a large party.

Visited this place for a regular meeting (dinner) with friends. It looks gorgeous! Food was great too. In comparison with other places, they have a choice of 3 virgin cocktails. Pineapple cocktail was really good!

Stumbled on this wonderful restaurant while walking in the area, during our visit to Chicago. It’s now on our list to come to every time we’re in the city!! Fabulous food, staff and atmosphere. Our server and support staff were over the top outstanding. And who knew a simple salad could be so delicious!! Thank you Dawson for a wonderful start to our Chicago visit.

We had the best service! Even birthday cava from Spain that was super yummy. Wasn’t crazy about the clam linguini but the tuna tartare was great. This place has an amazing atmosphere. Great vibe super aesthetic. The bar was very welcoming and beautiful. This was a wonderful choice for a classy birthday dinner.

The Dawson never disappoints. The staff is amazing and food is extraordinary. For food recommendations I highly suggest trying the chicken fried lobster, Brussel sprouts, Dawson Burger, lamb shank and beet salad. The patio is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful place to have dinner, cocktails or just dessert. This restaurant is high up on my list to bring any visiting friends and family to.

Excellent patio for a happy hour! Great vibes all around. Food is solid too, everything bagel Focaccia spread is amazing!
